Electric Castle 2024 Festival
The festival officially opens on Wednesday, July 17th, at 2:00 PM. By that time, participants can already take care of most of the access procedures remotely: wristbands can be picked up physically from dedicated locations in Bucharest and Cluj-Napoca or can be delivered by courier. Connected to a bank account, these will be the festival-goers’ “festival wallet”, the most practical payment method for those who do not want to worry about cash or physical cards.
Changes in Stage Locations
Electric Castle 2024 brings some changes in the location of the stages. The Hangar Stage, the second largest and the favorite spot for lovers of live rock concerts and drum & bass shows, will be located near the castle, while the Radio Stage will take its place. The Drip Stage has a new look, becoming a hub for urban culture and the place where participants can see hip-hop, rap, and trap artists from European stages, alongside local talents.

Pick Up Your Bracelet Before the Festival
To save time, visit the Swap Points and pick up your bracelet before the festival starts. Be the first to take a picture with the bracelet on your wrist and avoid the queues for swapping at the festival entrance. You will be able to use the fast entry lane.
IMPORTANT: Pre-Swap is not available for one-day tickets and for individuals under 18 years old.

Electric Castle Pre-Swap Program
Electric Castle Pre-Swap Program allows participants to exchange their tickets for wristbands in advance, making the festival entry process smoother and faster. This service is available at selected locations in Cluj-Napoca and Bucharest.
Cluj-Napoca Pre-Swap Location
At Iulius Mall in Cluj-Napoca, the Pre-Swap point will be open from Wednesday (July 10) to Friday (July 19) between 10:00 and 22:00. From July 10 to July 16, you can find the Pre-Swap point on the ground floor, and from July 17 to July 19, it will be on the first floor.
Bucharest Pre-Swap Locations
In Bucharest, you can visit the Pre-Swap point at Promenada Mall, Piazetta H&M, on the first floor at Calea Floreasca 246B from Sunday (July 7) to Tuesday (July 16) between 10:00 and 22:00. Additionally, there is a Pre-Swap point at AFI Cotroceni, on the glo island at Bulevardul General Paul Teodorescu 4, open from Monday (July 8) to Tuesday (July 16) from 10:00 to 22:00.
For those who prefer convenience, wristbands can also be ordered through Tazz delivery service in Cluj-Napoca and Bucharest. Before ordering through Tazz, make sure your ticket customization is complete, which can be done online from your Electric Castle account.
Festival Information
The Voievozi Festival will take place from Sunday, July 7th to Tuesday, July 16th, from 9:00 to 17:00. During the week, the festival will be open from 08:00 to 16:00, and on Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 to 18:00.
Top-Up Online
All payments at the festival are “cashless”, meaning that cash will not be accepted. Instead, payments will be made using the festival wristband. To do this, you will need to top up your wristband with money. You can do this by registering your ticket online.
When you exchange your ticket for a wristband, it will automatically be connected to your cashless account, and the money loaded into your account will be available on your wristband. To use the money on your wristband, you will need to activate it at any payment point at the festival. Once activated, you will be able to see the amount of money loaded onto it.
You can also top up your wristband at the festival, at the CREDIT POINTS, with a maximum amount of 2,500 lei that can be loaded in cash.
Refund Policy
Any unused money added through top-up can be refunded.
Refund Policy
Attendees can request a refund for their festival top-up points until July 22nd at 8:00 AM. The maximum cash refund amount is 2,000 lei. If you choose to leave the festival early or forget to request a refund, you can still do so after the festival by filling out a form. The money will be transferred to your account within 30 days of form submission. The exact refund policy will be posted on Electric Castle’s social media pages on the last day of the festival.
How to Get to the Festival
The festival is located approximately 30 km from Cluj-Napoca, in the village of Bonțida. If you are not staying in the EC Village or Bonțida, you can reach the festival by train (EC trains are the best option), bus, or car.
By EC Trains (Interregional)
You can choose to travel to Electric Castle with one of the EC trains, which depart several times a day from Gara Mică, Cluj-Napoca. Only individuals heading to Electric Cas
Transportation to the Festival
If you are planning to attend the festival, you can use the EC trains. The EC train will stop in Jucu, where a dedicated bus will take you to the festival. The price of a ticket is 35 lei and covers the entire journey from Cluj to Bonțida. Tickets can only be purchased online. The EC trains have limited capacity, so the organizers recommend buying your ticket in advance. Make sure to choose the correct date and time when purchasing, as the ticket will only be valid for the train departing on the selected date and time. Unused tickets can be used for any bus journey with the EC buses.
EC Bus – Non Stop
The EC buses will run non-stop, both during the day and at night, from Iulius Mall, Expo Transilvania, and Bonțida. Tickets can be purchased online or at the stations, paying with cash, bank card, or bracelet. The price is 35 lei/way, and tickets can be used for any journey during the festival. Facilities at Iulius Mall station
At the Iulius Mall station, you can find parking spaces for 24 hours or 5 days. Visit the Info Parking point and show your EC bracelet to get a discount. Additionally, there are restrooms in the Iulius Mall Food court and drinks available. Easy access with CTP buses.
Bus stations in Cluj-Napoca
When returning to Cluj-Napoca, the bus stations are located at Aurel Vlaicu – Expo Transilvania area, Iulius Mall. Make sure to catch the bus on time!
Children’s access
Children under 16 years old can enter if accompanied by a parent or legal guardian who must sign a supervision responsibility declaration. An adult can accompany up to 3 minors. Minors aged 16-18 need a parental declaration for participation. The organizer is not responsible for false declarations; the person making the declaration is responsible for its authenticity.

When attending the festival, you are allowed to bring the following items: backpack, professional cameras and video cameras, laptops, medications (including insulin), flags & selfie sticks, sealed plastic bottles of water, perfumes, deodorants, and other hygiene items, reusable water bottles (not made of glass), sunscreen, hand sanitizer, inflatable mattresses.
Prohibited Items
However, there are certain items that are not allowed at the festival, such as drugs, food and drinks, knives and blades larger than 6 cm, weapons (regardless of legal ownership), explosives, glass objects, alcohol, animals, bicycles, skateboards, scooters, hoverboards, segways, umbrellas of any kind.
What you can and cannot bring to a camping festival
Allowed items:
You are allowed to bring backpacks and luggage, laptops, non-perishable food and canned goods that are not packaged in glass containers, sealed plastic bottles of water, perfumes, deodorants, and other personal hygiene items (including those in glass containers), sunscreen, hand sanitizer, professional cameras and video cameras (commercial or promotional use is strictly prohibited), medications (including insulin) – you can bring your prescribed medications in their original packaging. It is advisable not to bring more than you need for the duration of the festival. No prescription proof is required. Flags and selfie sticks, Bluetooth speakers, inflatable mattresses.
Reusable Water Containers
When camping, it’s important to bring reusable water containers that are not made of glass. Make sure to store them inside the structure where you are staying when you leave the campsite. We are not responsible for any lost items.
Prohibited Items
Items that are not allowed on the campsite include drugs, weapons and explosives, knives with blades longer than 6 cm, firearms (regardless of legal ownership), explosives, etc. Also, bottles (except for perfumes), alcohol, animals, bicycles, skateboards, scooters, umbrellas of any kind, audio systems and sound amplifiers, drones or other flying objects, electric generators. Our EC staff will assist you if needed. Cooking appliances for outdoor use, refrigeration systems, fans or air conditioning units are also not allowed.
