ANRE approves lower tariffs for heat and electricity in the capital
The National Energy Regulatory Agency (ANRE) has approved today lower tariffs for the heat energy supplied to the residents of the capital by Termoelectrica. The tariffs will decrease by approximately 15 percent or by 314 lei for one gigacalorie.
Specifically, according to ANRE’s decision, consumers in Chisinau will pay 1824 lei for one gigacalorie (excluding VAT), which is 314 lei less than before or a 15 percent decrease.
Electricity prices also reduced
Today, ANRE has also approved the price for the electricity produced by Termoelectrica. It will decrease by 48 bani and will reach the level of 2 lei per kWh.
These decisions will come into effect on the date of publication in the Official Gazette.
Currently, the residents of the capital pay a heat tariff of 2138 lei for one gigacalorie. This was set in March of this year, when the last price adjustment was made, reducing the prices by 636 lei.
