Euro exchange rate increases
Yesterday, the Euro increased by 0.01 against the Romanian Leu, with the National Bank of Romania (BNR) displaying a reference rate of 4.9736 lei/euro. On the foreign markets, around 5:30 PM yesterday, one Euro was traded at 1.0824 dollars, up by 0.11% compared to the previous closing, according to data from Investing.com.
The transactions on Euro/dollar opened at 1.0811 dollars and ranged between a low of 1.0811 and a high of 1.0829 until the mentioned hour. The US dollar increased by 0.18 against the national currency, with BNR announcing a rate of 4.5967 lei, compared to 4.5949 lei in the previous session.
The Swiss Franc increased by 0.06 against the national currency, with BNR displaying a rate of 5.1203 lei, compared to 5.1197 lei in the previous session. The price of one gram of gold was quoted at 350.5732 lei, up by 1.2927 lei compared to 349.2805 lei, the value set in the previous session.
