Lower Natural Gas Prices in August
In August, the purchase price of natural gas from SA “Energocom” will be 347.18 euros per thousand cubic meters, as announced by SA “Moldovagaz”. This price is about 19 euros lower than in July, when we paid 366.34 euros per thousand cubic meters of gas.
Contractual Conditions and Pricing
According to the contractual conditions for the purchase of natural gas between SA “Moldovagaz” and SA “Energocom”, the purchase price in August 2024 will be 32.63 euros per MWh, equivalent to 347.18 euros per thousand cubic meters or 6,659.15 lei per thousand cubic meters (excluding VAT). This is based on the forecasted higher calorific value of 10.64 kWh per cubic meter and the respective exchange rate,” stated “Moldovagaz”. Gas procurement auctions have been taking place since May on the “BRM East Energy” platform.
