Where are the workers disappearing in Macedonia?
In Macedonia, the unemployment rate is decreasing, but there is a concerning trend of workers disappearing from the workforce. Many skilled workers are leaving the country in search of better opportunities abroad, leading to a shortage of qualified employees in various industries.
This brain drain is impacting the economy and hindering the country’s growth potential. Employers are struggling to find skilled workers to fill vacant positions, which is causing delays in projects and hindering business development.
Efforts must be made to retain skilled workers in Macedonia and create a more attractive environment for them to continue working in the country. This can be achieved through better job opportunities, competitive salaries, and improved working conditions to encourage workers to stay and contribute to the country’s development.
