In the first half of 2024, the hotel occupancy rate in Athens saw a significant increase, reaching 75.5% compared to 72.9% in 2023. This marks a year-over-year growth of 3.5%, showcasing a positive trend in the tourism sector.

June is traditionally a peak month for the Greek capital, with this year recording the highest occupancy rate at 91.7%. Despite this, there was a slight decrease of 1.4% compared to June 2023.
