New Electronic Application “Digispect” Streamlines Building Inspections
Minister of Digital Governance, Dimitris Papastergiou, along with Deputy Minister of Climate Crisis and Civil Protection, Christos Triantopoulos, unveiled the innovative new electronic application “Digispect” during a recent meeting at the Digital Governance Ministry.
The purpose of this new application is to revolutionize the process of inspecting and documenting damage to buildings caused by natural disasters. By digitizing this process, civil engineers will be able to conduct inspections more efficiently, securely, and transparently, without the burden of unnecessary red tape. Through “Digispect,” engineers can upload documents and photographs that are crucial for assessing the safety of buildings.
The application is designed to be user-friendly and can be easily installed on mobile devices like tablets. Access to the application will be restricted to authorized users through secure codes. Once the inspection process is complete, the occupant or owner of the building will receive an email or text message containing copies of all necessary documents.
