Introducing Ledger Flex: The Latest Hardware Wallet
At the BTC conference, Ledger unveiled its newest hardware wallet – Ledger Flex.
The device features a secure E Ink touch screen, NFC connectivity, and operates on Ledger’s Secure OS, aiming to enhance user experience without compromising security.
Ledger Flex showcases an elegant design in black and steel, with a special BTC Edition available. It boasts a 2.8-inch high-resolution E Ink display for clear transaction visibility and an extended battery life that can last for weeks or months on a single charge.
Revolutionizing Self-Custody with Ledger Flex
Following the earlier release of Ledger Stax, known for its curved E Ink display, Ledger has introduced Ledger Flex. According to Pascal Gauthier, chairman and CEO of Ledger, the unveiling of these two products this year aims to revolutionize self-custody. Currently, Ledger secures over 20% of the world’s digital assets, and these new devices are designed to make self-storage more convenient for individuals and businesses.
Priced at $249, Ledger Flex falls between the Nano series and Ledger Stax, which costs $399. It integrates with the application to provide a seamless experience for users.
Enhanced Security with Ledger Security Key
Ledger Live supports 70 blockchains and 200 dApps, making it a versatile platform for managing your cryptocurrency assets. In addition to this, Ledger has introduced the Ledger Security Key application, compatible with both Ledger Stax and Ledger Flex, to provide secure access to your system using two-factor authentication (2FA) and Passkey features. Ian Rogers, one of the directors, emphasized the importance of secure touch screens for real security.
