Customs Service Revenue Reaches Over 708 Million Lei
Last week, the Customs Service collected over 708 million lei for the state budget. Since the beginning of the current year, the institution has collected around 19.9 billion lei for the budget, meeting the target at 108.6%.
Individuals Introduce Taxable Goods
During the period of July 15-21, 2024, individuals introduced goods with a customs value exceeding the non-taxable limit, resulting in payments of over 19.3 million lei, which represents 2.7% of the total amount collected for that period.
Customs Declarations and Transport Flow
During the past week, 11516 customs declarations were processed, and the flow of means of transport amounted to 82677 crossings. The most transited customs posts remain Leușeni and Sculeni, with 20210 and 15095 crossings, respectively.
The money collected from taxpayers is deposited directly into the state budget and redistributed for salaries, infrastructure development, and projects.
