The Hellenic Cadastre Embraces Artificial Intelligence
The Hellenic Cadastre is set to revolutionize its services by incorporating artificial intelligence applications. Deputy Digital Governance Minister Konstantinos Kyranakis announced that the Cadastre will be the first Greek state service to utilize AI technology, marking a significant step forward in modernizing public administration.
Enhancing Efficiency with AI
One of the key features of the AI application is its ability to analyze contracts in natural language. This means that supervisors no longer have to spend long hours reading through documents to identify relevant rules. With the AI tool, the necessary information can be quickly identified, streamlining the process and reducing the time required to complete tasks.
Digitization of Deeds
In addition to AI integration, the Cadastre is also digitizing its archives. This initiative will enable lawyers to access deed information from their own offices, eliminating the need to visit physical locations. This digital transformation will make the search process more efficient and convenient for legal professionals in Athens, Thessaloniki, Piraeus, and other locations.
Digitalization of Public Records in Greece
The Deputy Minister of Greece recently announced that over 50 million pages of public records have been digitized. This move has significantly increased efficiency, with 90% of all transactions related to legal acts in Athens and Thessaloniki now being conducted digitally.
This digitalization not only saves time for Greek taxpayers but also protects them from potential corruption. The Deputy Minister emphasized the importance of reporting any suspicious activities, even allowing for anonymous tips. He stressed the need to eliminate corruption from the public sector and increase transparency within the Greek government.
