Transition to an Integrated Management System
In 2023, the company successfully completed its transition from a traditional Quality Management System to an Integrated Management System (IMS) by implementing the SHEQ approach (Safety & Health / Environment / Quality). This transition was guided by the recommendations of the ESG Committee, which consists of independent members.
Specifically, the company now holds certifications according to international standards ISO 45001:2018 (Occupational Health & Safety Management) and ISO 14001:2015 (Environmental Management) in all its production units in Greece, Poland, and other countries.
Progress in Sustainability Initiatives
Our company has made significant progress in reducing its carbon footprint and addressing climate change. One of the key steps taken is the implementation of photovoltaic systems in our facilities in Oinofyta, with plans to complete the installation of a photovoltaic system in our buildings in Maroussi by 2023. Additionally, we are moving forward with the implementation of photovoltaic systems in the production facilities of Polipak.
In addition to these initiatives, we have also implemented energy-efficient measures in our production facilities, such as upgrading lighting systems and improving the energy grid.
Clinea: The New Sustainable Skincare Brand
In the second quarter of 2023, a new refillable clean skincare brand called Clinea was launched, setting a new standard in the beauty industry. Clinea is based on clean beauty formulas and sustainable packaging made from recyclable and recycled materials. The brand offers refillable packaging with replaceable capsules, promoting a circular economy model.
Hybrid Work Model 2023
In 2023, the hybrid work model was implemented throughout the entire company, allowing employees to work both remotely and in the office. This flexible approach to work not only increased productivity but also contributed to the well-being of employees. The company’s commitment to thriving communities was evident through its initiatives in 2023, demonstrating a dedication to making a positive impact beyond business operations.
Multi-dimensional donations in 9 countries
Sarantis Group has donated over 1.8 million euros to various organizations in 9 countries including Greece, Poland, Romania, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Serbia, Portugal, and the Philippines.
