Foreign Stock Trading Volume Surpasses Bulgarian Stocks for the Day
The trading volume of foreign stocks for the day is more than twice as large compared to that of Bulgarian stocks. Both leading indices on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) SOFIX and BGBX40 closed the session with declines, but still recorded small gains compared to the end of last week.
During the session, SOFIX decreased by 0.56% to 864.55 points, BGBX40 by 0.31% to 169.84 points, BGREIT by 0.22% to 190.93 points, and BGTR30 by 0.22% to 858.34 points.

The stock market in Bulgaria saw a slight increase this session, with the main index, beamX, rising by 0.33% to 105.99 points. SOFIX recorded a growth of 0.08% for the week, while BGBX40 saw a 0.24% increase.
Investor activity in Bulgarian stocks was low, with trading turnover on Friday reaching 201 thousand leva. Of this, 30 thousand leva were from shares of “Shelli Group”. Trading turnover for “Ilevun Capital” reached over 41.6 thousand leva. Bond transactions accounted for just over 1000 leva.
Meanwhile, trading in foreign stocks contributed nearly 500 thousand leva to the turnover. “Himimport” emerged as the most traded stock in the session.

Today, the SOFIX index experienced the most pressure from the shares of “Chemimport”, which decreased by 3.45%, followed by “Shelly Group” with a 2.86% decline and “Agria Group Holding” with a 0.98% decrease.
At the same time, the stocks on the BSE index saw the highest increase from the included books – by 0.67%, followed by “First Investment Bank” (FIB) with 0.43% and “Sofarma” with 0.34%.
“Grain Foods Bulgaria” is the biggest loser in the BGBX40 session with a 7.69% decline, followed by “Chemimport” and “Shelly Group”. “Corado-B” had the highest increase in value by 5.32%, signaling a positive trend in the market.

In the latest trading session, Bulgaria’s stock market saw a significant increase in the value of various companies. The top gainer was “Bulgaria Inc.” with a 2.55% growth, followed by “Stara Planina Holdings” with 1.52% and “Telematic Interactive Bulgaria” with 1.27%.
Among the companies listed on the beamX index, the most significant increase was seen in the shares of “Biodyte” at 5.77%. This particular stock was the highest gainer in the session. On the other hand, “Webit Investment Network” experienced a decline of 0.91%.
For the session, the top three gainers were “Biodyte,” “Korado-Bulgaria,” and “Bulgarian-American Credit Bank” (BACB, 2.5%). Meanwhile, the biggest losers were “Lomsko Beer” (-23.13%), “Elhim Iskra” (-9.09%), and “Grain Foods Bulgaria.”
Overall, the week showed positive movements in the Bulgarian stock market, with various companies experiencing both gains and losses.
Top Performers and Underperformers in the Stock Market
When it comes to the latest trends in the stock market, some companies have been soaring while others have been struggling. Three top performers that have seen significant growth include Petrolium with 18.75% increase, Rosachim with 17.52%, and Telematik Interactive Bulgaria with 7.38%. On the other hand, the top three underperformers have been Aroma with a 27.01% decrease, Lomsko Pivo with 23.13%, and Bulgarska Roza-Karlovo with 20.1%.
