SOFIX Index Recovery
The main index of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange, SOFIX, continues its recovery following a sharp decline on Monday, increasing by 0.34% on Thursday to reach 853.16 points.
Top Performers
Among the companies in the index, the most significant price increase was recorded by “M+S Hydraulic,” which rose by 6.32% to 10.1 BGN per share. Other notable gainers included BFB, up by 2.7% to 7.6 BGN, and FNIB ADIC, which climbed by 1.53% to 2.66 BGN.
Biggest Declines
Conversely, the shares of PIB saw the largest decline, down 1.23% to 4.8 BGN, followed by “Sofarma,” which decreased by 1.02% to 5.8 BGN, and “Chimimport,” which fell by 0.7% to 0.71 BGN.
Overall Index Performance
All indices on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange showed positive movement on Thursday. The broader BGBX40 index increased by 0.36%, the sector-specific BGREIT rose by 0.25%, the equally weighted BGTR30 was up by 0.31%, and the beamX index, which tracks growth market performance, advanced by 0.37%.

The trading turnover on Thursday amounted to 2.1 million BGN, with 1.44 million BGN coming from bond trading. The leading companies by turnover were “Shelly Group” with 296,000 BGN, “Sofarma” with 108,000 BGN, PIB with 33,000 BGN, DOH with 21,000 BGN, and BFB with 19,000 BGN.
Most Active Stocks
The highest number of trades were executed for “Sofarma” with 29 transactions, followed by “Shelly Group” with 18, and both “Smart Organic” and “Doverie United Holding,” each with 13 trades.
