Customs Service Revenue Reaches 20.7 Billion Lei
Since the beginning of the current year, the Customs Service has collected a total of 20.7 billion lei for the state budget. In the past week alone, revenue reached over 717.4 million lei, with 18.9 million lei or 2.6% coming from payments made by individuals who have brought goods into the country exceeding the legal limit. Additionally, from July 22nd to 28th, 2024, customs officers processed 12,346 customs declarations, with a total of 87,947 crossings of transport vehicles.
The most frequently used border crossings remain Leușeni and Sculeni, with 21,414 and 15,468 crossings respectively.
