Bitcoin ETFs See Positive Inflows as Price Reaches $66,000
Bitcoin ETFs are experiencing positive inflows as the price of the leading cryptocurrency reaches $66,000 for the first time in a month. This surge in price comes after a period of extreme volatility that saw Bitcoin drop to a three-month low of under $54,000 earlier in July.
XRP Leads Altcoin Surge
Alongside Bitcoin, altcoins are also seeing gains, with XRP leading the pack with a 13% daily surge. This positive momentum in the altcoin market is reflective of the overall bullish sentiment in the cryptocurrency space.
Bitcoin’s Price Recovery
Following the sharp drop in price earlier this month, Bitcoin has managed to recover more than ten thousand dollars. The recovery began with a bounce-off to $58,000, and after consolidating around that level for several days, Bitcoin spiked to reclaim the $60,000 mark. The momentum continued into the current week, with Bitcoin reaching $63,000 and eventually tapping $66,000 today.
Bitcoin Reaches $66,000 Milestone
After reaching a milestone of $66,000 for the first time in months, Bitcoin has slightly dipped to just over $65,000. Its market cap remains strong at over $1.280 trillion, maintaining its dominance over other altcoins at 51.2%.
XRP and Other Top Performers
Ripple’s native token, XRP, has emerged as the top performer today, with a 13% surge in the past 24 hours, reaching over $0.6. FET, another larger-cap altcoin, has also seen a significant surge, reaching $1.5.
Other notable gainers in the cryptocurrency market include SOL (6%), DOGE (5%), AVAX (8%), DOT (5%), APT (10%), XLM (8%), and ATOM (8%). The total market capitalization of all cryptocurrencies has increased by over $80 billion overnight, now exceeding $2.5 trillion.
