Administrative Fees for Bulgarian National Bank in 2023
The total amount of fees for covering the administrative expenses of the Bulgarian National Bank for 2023 in these supervisory and restructuring functions amounts to 32.14 million leva. Of these, 25.38 million leva are for the banking supervision function. Another 3.68 million leva are for the function of restructuring credit institutions and 3.08 million leva are for the payment supervision function. Restructuring and reorganization in the central bank
The central bank has announced the development of new regulations regarding restructuring and reorganization. These regulations are being implemented in accordance with Article 59a, paragraph 1 of the Law on the Bulgarian National Bank, and in connection with Article 8, paragraph 1 of Regulation No. 40 of the BNB dated December 1, 2020, which determines the fees for covering the administrative costs of the BNB resulting from supervision and restructuring functions.
