United Bulgarian Bank Wins Bank of the Year Award
The United Bulgarian Bank has been awarded the prestigious “Bank of the Year” prize at the 32nd edition of the Bank of the Year competition. The event, which traditionally brings together representatives from the banking and financial sectors, politicians, educators, public figures, and business leaders, took place on July 4, 2024, at the Millennium Grand Hotel in Sofia.
The winner of the grand prize was presented by Rumen Radev, President of the Republic of Bulgaria. “This award is very special to us. We see it as recognition for everything we have achieved in the past year, during which we have made significant strides in the financial sector,” said a representative of the United Bulgarian Bank.

Our recent merger between OBB and KBC Bank Bulgaria has been a complex process that involved transferring over 600,000 clients.
