Merging of “White Stork” and “Aroma” Joint-Stock Companies
The “White Stork” and “Aroma” joint-stock companies have decided to merge in order to streamline the activities of both companies, strengthen their position in the market, increase sales volume both locally and for exports, as a result of technological improvements and increased productivity and quality of products.
The decision was approved today by the Government, and the reorganization will be carried out by the State Property Agency, the sole shareholder of these enterprises.
According to the Government, by merging with “White Stork,” the “Aroma” company will efficiently leverage the brands owned by S.A. “Aroma” and the stocks of spirits and brandy, allowing for the expansion and diversification of markets. “After restructuring, a 23% increase in net sales compared to the current year is planned for 2025, along with the consolidation of the company’s market presence,” the Executive states.
The White Stork Company
The “White Stork” Company has a history of about 80 years, and its products have reached countries such as Australia, the USA, Romania, Israel, China, the Baltic Countries, Czech Republic, Germany, the entire CIS territory, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan. It is worth mentioning that in 2022, S.A. “Barza Albă” received the status of a national cultural heritage object of the Republic of Moldova.
